I live in the Laurentians, I am a Quebecer and a Canadian.
I have spent the greater part of my life in representing Canada and in promoting the interests of Canadians abroad: in Africa, in the Middle East, in Europe and in Montreal at ICAO(International Civil Aviation Organization).
I do not believe that there is a higher honor to that of being asked to serve one’s country at the international level, except when called to represent many thousands of your fellow citizens in the Canadian Parliament.
To achieve this would be the crowning event of a life entirely devoted to the public service of my country.
I therefore wish to express in advance, my gratitude, with modesty and sincerity, to all those who will give me their trust with their support.
I shall not fail them.
